Back to School: Pittsburgh Child and Family Photography

While the school headshot that gets taken every year is practically quintessential to the documentation of every child in America, it somehow doesn't truly capture that child's personality, their quirks, what they really love about school. Try as you might, that picture doesn't quite hit it's 1000 word quota to tell you what they're learning in class, what their favorite book is at the time, their favorite subject, or any of those details that are soon forgotten with time.

We aim to capture some of those very details with our back to school portrait sessions. We encourage the kids to show us how they really feel about school, to show off their favorite subjects--even if it is just recess that year. And we hope you'll treasure the results for many, many years to come.
