The Barn at Madison: West Moreland County Wedding Photography
I recently told a photographer friend of mine that if you ever have the opportunity to work at the Barn at Madison, the answer is always yes. The same would hold true for any couple that's considering this venue for their wedding/reception as well.
I also have to throw this out there, the venue staff--they're simply superb, delightful people to work with. I get to meet a lot of other vendors in the wedding industry and they are probably top five on my recommendation list. Considering the complexities involved in flipping this venue from one stage of the wedding to the next, they made it look seamless and easy. I'm fairly certain that the wedding guests didn't have a clue how much work was really going on in the background. So this wedding was a real treat to photograph with Christine Hlad. Everything was in one place--from getting dressed to the final boogie. We got to thoroughly explore all three floors of the barn and the surrounding grounds in all their rustic beauty. Prep on the third floor had separate spaces for the bride and groom allowing us to set up a special first look outside in the gardens. The ceremony took place outside with ancient pines as a backdrop before cocktail hour took place in the bar and lounge on the first floor. Once dinner was underway on the second floor, the first floor was transformed into a rockin' reception dance floor to finish out the evening. And boy did these cats know how to rock and roll! So, considering the Barn at Madison? 5 out of 5; would do again...and again and again.
